Software Developer - Build Development

About The Role

Develops and supports robust quality engineering solutions at every layer of the software development life cycle. Empowers team to continuously deliver enterprise grade software to production by engineering quality into our continuous delivery pipeline.

What You Will Do

• 5 to 8 years of experience in development of software builds.
• Hands on experience on any one of Ant, Groovy
• Hands on experience on any one of Java, Python
• Familiar with the build tools like Gradle / Maven
• Working experience on Power Shell / Shell Scripting
• Administrative knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of Windows administration is an added advantage
• Good understanding of Database, Networking, Security, and Virtualization Concepts
• Proficiency authoring and maintaining Docker files.
• Understanding of Kubernetes components and cloud provider offerings.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code, following coding best practices and secure development guidelines.
• Proficient with source control management techniques including branching, code review, and merging using Git
• Good understanding of GitHub, Gerrit, CVS
• Participate in peer reviews, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and cloud deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as part of support rotations.
• Contribute to performance tuning, optimization, and refactoring efforts.
  

What You Need

• 5+ years of experience in Test automation on API Testing, Rest API and UI testing
• Advanced proficiency in one, familiarity with multiple programming languages - Java/Python, Shell scripting
• Fluent with REST Interfaces, OpenAPI specs
• Fluent in state-of-the-art techniques, standards, and procedures for software test development
• Demonstrated ability to distinguish between testing layers, match the correct approach to each situation, and design effective quality gates based on these layers.
• Expert in at least one test automation framework like, Selenium, Playwright, and Robot demonstrating the ability to create shareable code.
• Expert in Functional testing and Postman
• Expert in HTML and CSS
• Proficient with source control management techniques including branching, code review, and merging using GitHub / Git / Gerrit / CVS
• Proficiency authoring and maintaining Dockerfiles.
• Understanding of Kubernetes components and cloud provider offerings.
• Familiarity managing container image versions within container registries.
• Proficiency building and maintaining Jenkins and CI/CD solutions
• Familiarity with CI/CD infrastructure, platform configuration, integration, and secret management.
• Fluent in at least one public cloud interface.
• Working knowledge of stream and event processing
• Ability to pivot quickly and seamlessly toward areas of need
