Job Description

Design mechanical and electromechanical products, systems, and subsystems based on customer requirements, functional specifications, and industry standards.
Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD modeling using Creo with hands-on experience in creating detailed part drawings and assemblies.
Expertise in the design and development of sheet metal components, considering manufacturing feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
End-to-end product design responsibilities including requirement gathering, concept development, detailed engineering design, material selection, design for manufacturability (DFM), prototyping, production release, and post-launch support.
Conduct cross-functional design reviews and collaborate with teams across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality for successful implementation of NPD, VAVE and VOS initiatives.
Working knowledge of Oracle ERP systems, Product Data Management (PDM) tools, and product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.
Ability to perform design calculations, stress analysis and support simulation/testing teams to validate design performance.
Prepare and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), ECO/DCR documentation, and ensure adherence to company procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement, design optimization, and cost reduction.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality design output.

Qualifications

BE/B Tech - Mechanical.

Experience: 2.5 - 4.5 Years.
