Job Title: Engine Specification Control
Job Description: The Engine Specification Control role involves overseeing the development, documentation, and maintenance of engine specifications within the organization. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of engine performance characteristics. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that all engine specifications are met and maintained throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include conducting specification reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing changes to specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on trends in engine performance and specifications, providing recommendations for improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain detailed engine specifications and documentation. - Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure adherence to specifications. - Conduct regular reviews and audits of engine specifications. - Manage changes to specifications and document change control processes. - Analyze engine performance data and identify areas for improvement. - Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards related to engine specifications. - Prepare and present reports on specification performance and trends to stakeholders. - Support the training of staff on specification standards and practices. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. - Strong understanding of engine performance metrics and specifications. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in using engineering software and tools related to engine design and analysis. - Familiarity with regulatory standards governing engine specifications (e.g., ISO, SAE). - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
