Key Responsibilities
- Energy Audits & Assessments
- Conduct comprehensive energy audits of commercial, industrial, and residential facilities with a focus on HVAC systems and energy-consuming equipment.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret energy data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for savings.
- Perform load calculations, thermal assessments, and system evaluations to determine energy performance.
- IoT & Solution Design
- Design and recommend IoT-enabled energy monitoring and management solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop technical solution designs tailored to client-specific requirements.
- Implement smart solutions that integrate HVAC, lighting, and other systems for real-time monitoring and optimization.
- Technical & Process Documentation
- Prepare detailed energy audit reports, including technical findings, proposed solutions, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI estimations.
- Develop technical solution documents, design specifications, and system integration plans.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international energy efficiency standards and certifications.
- Client Collaboration & Support
- Engage with clients to understand operational challenges and energy efficiency goals.
- Present findings and solutions in clear, client-friendly presentations with actionable recommendations.
- Support implementation of approved measures and ensure client satisfaction through post-implementation evaluations.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in IoT, smart building systems, renewable energy, and HVAC efficiency tools.
- Proactively recommend improvements in methodologies, audit processes, and solution designs.
- Participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in HVAC systems auditing and optimization.
- Practical experience with IoT-based monitoring systems and their integration with building energy systems.
- Proficiency in technical solution design, energy modeling tools, and data analysis.
- Good understanding of building management systems (BMS), controls, and automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills.
- Ability to design customized energy-saving solutions aligned with client goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in energy auditing with emphasis on HVAC and IoT-based solutions.
- Certification in Energy Auditing (CEA, CMVP, or equivalent) preferred.
- Familiarity with green building standards (LEED, BEE, ISO 50001, etc.) is an advantage
