Employee Relations Manager

As an Employee Relations Manager at Danone India, you will play a crucial role in maintaining positive employee relations at the Lalru factory. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around union management, collective bargaining, discipline and grievances management, and ensuring a high and positive internal employee experience. Key Responsibilities: - Implement Danone Social Dialogue fundamentals at Lalru Factory - Regularly engage with employees, people managers, and plant leadership to identify areas of improvement - Participate in collective bargaining and sign long-term settlements with employees union - Manage union matters, grievances, demands, and expectations - Liaise with legal consultants on a case-to-case basis and provide guidance - Ensure positive employee relations - Liaise with local labor authorities to comply with statutory requirements - Manage litigations and compliance under various labor laws - Stay updated on the latest developments in labor laws - Responsible for Human Rights Due Diligence policy and program at Lalru factory - Ensure compliance with the Contract Labor Act - Investigate and take appropriate actions for non-compliance or disciplinary issues - Coach and advise line managers on discipline management strategies - Prepare and participate in domestic inquiries and labor court hearings Qualifications Required: - Post Graduate Degree in HR/Labor Relations - 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience - Degree in Law is desirable Danone India is committed to creating a workplace where individuals are empowered to contribute meaningfully, grow professionally, and feel a true sense of belonging.
