Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, execution, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and automation projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute electrical systems, layouts, and wiring diagrams for projects.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), load calculations, and cost estimations.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical panels, lighting systems, and equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Handle site execution work, including manpower management and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company guidelines.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure preventive maintenance of systems.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Support integration with automation, lighting control, and surveillance systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–6 years in electrical project execution, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of LV, MV systems, panel boards, lighting, cabling, and earthing.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design tools.
• Understanding of lighting automation, surveillance systems, or SCADA (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Additional Preferences

• Experience in lighting design, automation systems, or electrical maintenance will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of government tender documentation, drawings, and project billing preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
