Job Role Type Manufacturing Operations Key Purpose of this position To Ensure the implementation of systems in the area of Safety, Health, Environment and Fire. Key Responsibilities To drive initiatives for improving the Safety Culture. To carry out plant safety inspection in order to observe the physical condition of work practices and procedures followed by workers and to render advice on measures to be adopted for removing the unsafe physical conditions and preventing unsafe actions by workers. To ensure proper safety permit system in the unit. To ensure all statutory compliances relating to Safety, Environment, Health and Fire are met Investigate and take corrective action on accidents and incidents happened in the unit. To get the audits conducted and close the findings. To deliver trainings in the area of SHEF. To get the Environment Monitoring done at fixed intervals and suggest corrections if required. To comply with statutory requirements relating to Environment. To ensure individual wellness and health are maintained. Ensure effective operations of the Occupational Health Centre. To render advice on matters related to reporting and investigation of industrial accidents and diseases. To ensure the fitness of the firefighting equipment and to get it inspected on monthly basis. To conduct MOCK drills and fire drills at frequent intervals. Energy Conservation techniques. Energy Assessment/audit skills. Accessing Factors influencing energy use or waste, Energy measurement and verification techniques and protocols To implement & maintain the practical aspects of protecting the environment. To take care of individuals' health and well-being. To ensure and improve the safety of humans and equipment.

Academic & Professional Qualifications Graduate, Diploma in Engineering or B. Sc. With Post Diploma in Industrial Safety Experience (Specify, if any particular area or industry preference) 6- 8 years’ experience in relevant field Good Communication skill Good knowledge in Legal & Statutory compliance management. Energy measurement and verification techniques and protocols.

The ideal candidate is a Graduate/Diploma Engineer or B.Sc. with a Post Diploma in Industrial Safety, bringing 6–8 years of experience in plant safety, health, environment, and fire (SHEF) management. They have strong knowledge of statutory compliance, safety audits, accident investigation, fire drills, and energy conservation techniques, with proven ability to train teams and improve workplace safety culture. Good communication and leadership skills make them effective in managing safety systems and compliance at the plant level.
