They should have strong problem-solving ability, operational discipline, and the drive to continuously improve processes and efficiency.Candidates with an MBA in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations Management are preferred.
Role Summary
As Manager - Operations, you will be responsible for supervising and improving day-to-day warehouse and 3PL operations across assigned locations or accounts. You will work closely with warehouse teams, transport partners, and clients to ensure smooth execution, KPI adherence, and operational excellence.This role demands strong coordination, people management, and analytical skills, along with hands-on experience in running warehouse processes.
Key Operations Management
- Supervise daily inbound, storage, outbound, and dispatch operations.
- Ensure accurate GRN, picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and ensure zero variances.
- Drive productivity improvements and cost efficiency across operations.
Client Coordination & SLA Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Ensure SLA adherence across TAT, inventory, orders, dispatches, and reporting.
- Handle client queries/escalations with timely and solution-oriented responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and process adoption.
Team & Daily Performance Monitoring
- Guide and monitor supervisors, associates, and warehouse staff.
- Review daily KPIs (receiving, dispatch, orders processed, inventory accuracy).
- Allocate manpower effectively based on workload and priorities.
- Foster a culture of discipline, ownership, and process adherence.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure SOPs are followed across all warehouse activities.
- Identify process gaps and work with senior leadership to improve workflows.
- Maintain compliance with safety, statutory, and audit requirements.
- Support in conducting periodic internal and client-led audits.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Track KPIs and highlight risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
- Use data to drive better decision-making and productivity.
Key Requirements
- MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related fields (preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience, with minimum 2 years in warehousing/3PL operations.
- Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, inventory, and dispatch processes.
- Hands-on experience with WMS, scanners, and warehouse documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, and client management skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage day-to-day operational challenges.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
