We are seeking a passionate and experienced IB Economics Teacher to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach

  IB Diploma Programme (DP) Economics

  in alignment with IB standards and frameworks.
• Design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons focused on developing critical thinking, analysis, and global economic awareness.
• Plan assessments, projects, and Internal Assessments (IAs) as per the IB curriculum requirements.
• Guide students through their

  Extended Essay (EE)

  in Economics (if assigned).
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, prepare report cards, and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary units, and academic enrichment.
• Participate in school-wide activities including IB workshops, professional development, parent-teacher meetings, and community outreach.
• Support students in preparing for external examinations and university readiness.
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Economics is mandatory

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience

  teaching IB DP Economics or similar international curricula (A-Level, AP).
• Strong understanding of the IB philosophy, assessment criteria, and inquiry-based learning.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with technology integration in teaching and learning.
• IB workshop training (Category 1/2/3) is an added advantage.
