Role Description

E-Commerce Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage

    listings, catalog accuracy, and product content

    across all online platforms.
  • Drive

    pricing, discounts, and promotions

    in line with platform strategies and brand profitability.
  • Monitor

    inventory levels and replenishment

    to ensure availability and minimize stock-outs.
  • Prepare and analyze

    daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports

    (sales, returns, margins, campaign performance).
  • Work closely with marketplaces (Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, etc.) to participate in

    promotions, campaigns, and visibility drives

    .
  • Manage

    own website operations

    (orders, stock sync, discounting, customer data analysis).
  • Identify and execute

    growth hacks

    to improve conversion rates, visibility, and sales.
  • Coordinate with design, marketing, and operations teams to align e-commerce strategy with overall business goals.
  • Monitor competition and market trends to refine pricing and promotional strategy.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field

    .
  • MBA preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience

    in e-commerce, preferably with a

    fashion brand

    .
  • Proven track record of

    growing marketplace sales

    (esp. Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa).
  • Hands-on experience with

    multi-channel e-commerce management

    .

Technical Skills

  • Strong command of

    Excel, Google Analytics, and platform dashboards

    .
  • Experience with

    ERP/e-commerce management tools

    for inventory sync.
  • Knowledge of

    pricing, discount, and campaign optimization models

    .

Soft Skills

  • Highly analytical and data-driven.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management (esp. with platform account managers).
  • Problem solver with a

    growth-hacker mindset

    .
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
