Job Description E-commerce Sales Head / E-commerce Manager

Please Note:

This is a revenue-driven leadership role responsible for three key verticals Online Sales (Revenue Generation), Growth Strategy, and Supply Chain Operations including inventory, procurement, and logistics.

We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Leader to set up, scale, and manage our entire online business from scratch. This role oversees the full P&L of the e-commerce vertical, ensuring seamless website & marketplace operations, strong customer experience, cross-functional coordination, and consistent revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue & Strategy Ownership

Architect the full e-commerce ecosystem from scratch — D2C platform, marketplace stack, OMS/ERP, CRM, and analytics infrastructure.

Own revenue KPIs: Revenue Growth %, CVR, AOV, CLTV, ROAS efficiency, Sell-through, RTO %.

Drive brand acceleration using digital + offline tech: Programmatic DSPs, DOOH networks, OOH tech platforms, OTT ad integrations, CRM automation , and omni-channel tracking models.

2. Website & Platform Management

Oversee the architecture, UX, functionality, and performance of the company’s e-commerce website.

Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, and real-time inventory syncing.

Ensure seamless buying journeys with high conversion and low drop-off rates.

3. Marketplace Operations

Lead operations and sales across Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio , etc

Improve listing quality, buy-box %, return/RTO % , and marketplace ranking.

Drive visibility, ranking, and sales through operational excellence and platform-specific strategy.

4. Supply Chain, Inventory & Fulfilment

Coordinate with procurement, inventory, warehouse, and logistics teams for smooth order flow.

Oversee inventory planning, replenishment, and stock accuracy across channels.

Ensure timely fulfillment, shipment accuracy, and logistical cost optimization.

5. Marketing & Growth Strategy

Marketing Budget planning . Brand collaboration.

Monthly SKU Analysis , P & L .

Offline Activity to promote brand & drive ales.

Drive full-funnel growth: awareness acquisition retention

6. Customer Experience & Operations

Monitor end-to-end customer journey and resolve escalations efficiently.

Implement customer retention, loyalty, and lifecycle strategies.

Improve NPS, return rates , and overall customer satisfaction metrics.

7. Reporting

Build dashboards for sales, funnel metrics, COCA, ROAS, CLTV, inventory, and marketplace performance

Use GA4, Looker Studio, SQL/Sheets, and BI tools for insights and forecasting

Required Skills & Qualifications

-> E-commerce Platforms: Shopify / WooCommerce / Magento.

->OMS/ERP: Unicommerce, Vinculum, SAP/Zoho/NetSuite

->Analytics: GA4, GTM, Looker Studio, Heatmaps, CRO tools

->Marketplaces: Seller Central, Myntra Partner Panel, Ajio Vendor Panel

->Media Tech: Programmatic DSPs(Demand-Side Platforms), OOH/DOOH planning, OTT ad platforms

->Advanced Excel/Sheets, Reporting Dashboards, Forecasting Models

->MBA/PGDM preferred (any specialization).
