Job description

  • Responsible for the daily operation of the hotel.
  • To ensure that all departments are fully staffed and running smoothly.
  • To do walk-arounds of the hotel and ensure that everyone and everything is as it should be.
  • Promote a professional and hospitable image to the guest. Give full cooperation to any guest requiring assistance with a prompt, caring and helpful attitude.
  • Be flexible in assisting around the Hotel in response to business and guest needs.
  • To have contact with each department and inform them of the days, weeks schedules, future functions, and events.
  • Assist with the personnel and training function in the hotel, taking on specific responsibilities in this area.
  • Take on supervisory responsibilities in specific departments as required and assist in all Catering areas operationally.
  • Assist in the training and induction of new staff in conjunction with the Heads of Department.
  • Ensure the security of the hotel, stocks and keys at all times whilst on duty.
  • Ensure that risk assessments are carried out and reviewed regularly.
  • Identify and report maintenance requirements/hazards in the workplace.
  • Assume responsibility whilst on duty for any emergency situations in line with procedures.
  • Attend any training meetings as required.
  • To deal with guest complaints.
  • To deal with any emergencies which may occur.
  • To monitor procedures and equipment on an on-going basis to ensure that they have regard to both the employees and guests’ health and safety.
  • To communicate effectively with the management team of the hotel.
  • To train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees when required.
  • To monitor the standards of cleanliness of the hotel on an ongoing basis and ensure that standards are maintained.
  • To regularly inspect staff changing rooms and ensure SOP's standards are maintained.
  • New employee induction, including ensuring the correct records are updated and maintained.
  • To set an example on presentation and grooming.

Requirements -

* Previous management experience in Hotel industry.

*Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

*Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

*Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

*Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
