Job Description Job Purpose Reporting to the Director People & Culture, the role holder will contribute to the performance of their hotel by facilitating the on-boarding and training as well as driving engagement, learning and development, performance, and talent within their hotel by driving the learning & development activities in their hotel. They will have a desire to be the best at what they do and achieve operational excellence in their departments through all the metrics that are measured. Responsibilities Learning & Facilitation Prepares the Learning needs analysis for the hote Prepares the Hotel Training Plan and budget that is aligned with the hotel’s goals and strategic plan Follows-up on all training activities within the hotel Ensures all team members complete Ennismore mandatory training modules on time and the hotel is 100% compliant Ensures coordination and delivery of training programs of all internal providers Champions company provided online and e-learning tools and portals, ensuring approval processes are in place and executed, as well as registrations and completions are monitored and tracked. Assists the hotel in developing quality introductory and ongoing departmental training plans and learning activities; maintain active follow-up through on-going coaching, guidance and supports of junior-, mid-level- and senior leaders Supports the development of Departmental Trainers as required Participates in regional meetings / workshops and ensures such activities are rolled out as required in the hotel Manages the Ennismore Learning portal (LMS) and ensures completion of all required training; in addition to all Ennismore people platforms Analyses data for decision-making & shares reports with key stakeholders Supervises the completion of compliance training i.e., Ennismore Way, Anti-Bribery, Antitrust, GDPR, Fire Safety, School of Change, Sustainability, First Aid… Reviews how cross training is managed in the hotel Facilitates training to all levels in the hotel Champion the creation of a learning culture in the hotel Demonstrates proactivity in measuring both feedback about the learning experience as well as sustainable behavioural change Talent Development & Performance Management Assists with the annual Talent Review process in conjunction with the Department Heads are conducted and associated documentation maintained to the required standard Facilitates the performance management cycle from probation reviews, annual performance reviews, development plans and goal setting as well as on the job training for Department Heads and in turn their teams Ensures Departments have adequate Departmental Trainers, and these are well utilised Designs a transparent development programme in place for all supervisory positions in conjunction with the People & Culture leader Shares ongoing feedback with team members to support their development People & Culture Employee Engagement and Communications Strives to increase employee’s engagement by promoting a positive work environment where each team member is informed and proactive about the overall business goals. Ensures the consistent delivery of business and associate information with transparency so that each team member understands how they contribute to the company’s success. This will include working on the Employee Engagement Survey (EES) and People & Culture Audit. Ensures the EES Champions for the hotel/departmental action plans in order to increase employees engagement and improve EES scores year on year. Represents the organization as an exemplary ambassador for Ennismore values and culture Finance Acts on behalf of the business to work through complex situations and reduce risk, interpreting and implementing company policies and employment legislation as appropriate Exercises sound judgment and integrity at all times to ensure confidentiality of protected information Reviews the hotel financial KPI’s and sees where Learning and Development can add value Abilities/Key Competencies/Skills Alongside these key competencies, the incumbent of the role will be required to demonstrate the fundamentals of Ennismore values & culture: Come as you are We’re in it together Think big & believe We work hard, make it fun Make a positive impact Be humble & kind Qualifications Knowledge Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree from a reputable hospitality/business school preferred (focus on psychology, education, business administration, hotel management) Minimum 5 years of total experience ideally with strong operations background At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role Competencies Reflects the brand culture Demonstrates self-confidence, personable & refined High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of hotel operations and business acumen Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language Strong working knowledge of digital tools Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills Excellent communication and customer contact skills Results and service oriented with an eye for details Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations A motivator & self-starter Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management / Hotel Management Minimum 4 years of training/facilitation experience Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint Additional Information What’s In It For You Lots of opportunity to progress and switch it up as part of a global family of brands. We are now looking for an experienced General Manager to join our team Job Description We are seeking a seasoned, commercially driven General Manager to support the properties, with a strong execution focus and a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate will have international experience, a strong executive presence, and the ability to manage sophisticated ownership. Deep diving the commercial and operational activities of the hotels. Lead and develop a business plan to drive owner returns. Recruiting, leading, managing and motivating a strong team, upskilling, recruiting, measuring and managing performance. Reviews and implements strategic initiatives to drive commercial performance across the Hotel and its facilities. Qualifications What we'd like from you: Prior lifestyle luxury hotel general management experience with strong executive presence. A motivating leader with a background in sales and marketing Experienced in complex operations and ownership. Successful in developing objectives and business cases for capital investment. Genuine team development, guest, and owner focus. Commercial acumen. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on effective communication and relationship-building.
