Role Description
The Divisional Risk and Control Specialist Documentation Analyst is responsible for delivering specific aspects of the risk and control strategy for a sub-division. This includes reviewing, mining, enriching controls data and documentation for management of key control inventory. Understanding operational processes for monitoring risk and control activities, designing of key controls and risk-based control reporting of key issues, performance, and validation of cyclical activities such as certification and annual control self-assessments. It would also include, control assurance, incident research, remediation monitoring and other ad hoc control initiatives and projects. The Divisional Risk and Control Specialist - Documentation Analyst will liaise with other risk and control functions, on a management level to assure the integration of risk initiatives and projects.What well offer you

Your key responsibilities:
Detail-oriented and intellectually curious Operational Process and Control Writer to support the documentation, training, and enhancement of operational controls and processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for reading and interpreting complex policy and risk literature, and the ability to engage with senior global stakeholders. This role also requires comfort with data tracking, new tools, and a proactive interest in AI-enabled solutions.
Maintain Key Control Inventory - Review of existing controls framework and documenting required controls in line with the Banks risk framework and taxonomy ensuring Minimum Control Standards are met with and standardized across the cross divisional global footprint of Operations. This also includes supporting control lifecycle activities by documenting key control attributes and updates in governance tools and performing review and challenge on various certification and assessments performed by control owners.
Control DesigningDraft and refine process and control documentation aligned with enterprise standards and risk frameworks.
Policy & Governance AnalysisReview and interpret large volumes of process, policy, and risk-control documentation with sustained focus and accuracy.
Training & Guidance SupportConduct training sessions on control activities and tooling (e.g., Controls Platform, Key Control Lifecycle Events) for diverse audiences across geographies. Support and guide stakeholders through Control Inventory tool.
Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior stakeholders, to gather inputs and validate content. Engage with project teams to support control-related initiatives and timelines.
ReportingContribute to reporting and dashboarding efforts to monitor control health and progress. Generate and report various control inventory reports on demand. Track and maintain control inventory data with precision and timeliness.
AI-equippedExplore and apply AI-enabled tools to improve documentation and training delivery. Learn and adapt to new applications and platforms used for control management and reporting.
Your skills and experience
5 to 7 years of experience working with ServiceNow or similar platforms/control inventories.Proficient with SharePoint, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc) strong excel skills required.Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with proven ability in interviewing process experts and risk type controllers to understand the end-to-end process and associated risks which will form the base of writing key controls. Ability to continually read and comprehend complex process documentation, assess the control requirements for a process and write the controls in clear and unambiguous language to meet the standards prescribed by the Risk Organization.Experience interacting with senior stakeholders across global teams on various risk related topics.Ability to conduct effective training sessions across diverse audiences and time zones.Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organizational and interpersonal skillsComfort with learning and using new tools and systems.Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance documentation and training.Ability to read and absorb extensive policy and control documentation including risk taxonomy, minimum standards, audit reportsPrior experience in operational risk, controls, or process documentation is a plus.Intermediate project management capabilitiesEffective problem solving and decision-making capabilityExperience operating in a complex and fast-paced global environmentOpen-minded, capability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise with othersKnowledge of financial domain & terminology would be a plus
