Job Description

Position Overview

The District Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and monitoring programme at the District Level. The role involves coordinating with District Administration, Schools, Local Government Bodies, and Trainers to ensure smooth delivery of oral health sessions, community outreach, and reporting.

The ideal candidate is passionate about community development, enjoys field engagement, and has strong coordination and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Program Implementation

  • Coordinate and oversee activities in all assigned blocks/schools within the district.
  • Ensure quality delivery of oral health education sessions as per programme guidelines.
  • Conduct orientation and training sessions for trainers/field educators.
  • Facilitate logistics for programme material distribution (kits, IEC materials, etc.).

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Supervise a team of trainers/ field facilitators.
  • Provide regular feedback and handholding support to ensure effective delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with District Education Authorities, School Heads, Teachers, and Local Administration.
  • Represent the programme in district-level review meetings and forums.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track daily and weekly implementation progress against set targets.
  • Ensure timely data collection, verification, and submission of programme reports.
  • Conduct random field visits to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Capture success stories, case studies, and feedback from the field.

Qualification & Experience

  • Post-Graduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Public Health, Education, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in managing district-level programs in education, health, or WASH sectors.
  • Prior experience working with schools, government departments, or CSR programmes is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in local language and basic English.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the district.

  • Comfort with digital tools (MS Office, Google Sheets, mobile data collection apps).
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹33,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
