Manages the program to align with evolving Critical Application Recovery policy, audit requirements, compliance obligations, and business needs and objectives. Establish the program metrics and standards, develop plans to improve the success measures. Identifies and remediates recovery gaps noted during tabletop exercises or live system recovery tests.
Plan, build, run and manage enterprise-wide IT DR for JLL, including DR strategies, plan development, plan exercising, and manage related IT budgets (capital and operational), annual program agendas and recovery improvement metrics.
Oversee the design, execution and continuous improvement of DR plans through rigorous exercising. Manage the execution and completion of all DR test activities.
The person who fills this position will be expected to collaborate with business continuity management (BCM), business unit management, external business partners and key IT staff members to plan, direct, control and maintain effective DR plan testing.
Manage the creation of program status communications to internal management (e.g., board of directors, the audit committee, BCM steering committee and business unit management) and external stakeholders (including regulators, auditors and customers) regarding the status of the DR program, including annual reporting, audit report responses and customer requests.
Ensures and tracks the delivery of Critical System Recovery Program awareness and education, coordinating as needed with the System Recovery Coordinators around the world. Provides subject matter expertise to internal customers and external clients.
Manages the annual review process for the Critical Infrastructure and Business System Recovery Plans. Maintains the Critical System Recovery repository that includes the most recent copies of all the Critical Infrastructure and Business System Recovery Plans.
Manages execution of live system recovery tests, coordinating recovery resources, scheduling test events, developing and managing the recovery test tasks, monitoring results, collecting artifacts, creating and disseminating test reports, and managing remediation plans to close discovered gaps if required.
Manages client information requests throughout the full lifecycle of client acquisition and ongoing service delivery. Participates in compliance audits (SOC2, ISO, or client) as the continuity and resiliency SME.
