Job Description

The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall management of day-to-day business operations. You will be required to optimize processes, ensure operational efficiency, manage budgets, handle client management, and lead teams to drive performance and growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to meet the company's goals and objectives. It is essential to ensure alignment of operations with the overall business strategy. Continuously analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service quality will be a key aspect of your role. Managing budgets across various departments, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality or performance, and monitoring financial reports to manage P&L will be part of your responsibilities. Leading, mentoring, and developing the operations team to ensure high performance and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement are crucial. Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring departmental performance, addressing issues, and making adjustments to ensure goals are achieved are essential tasks. Collaborating closely with other departments such as HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance to ensure smooth operations and the achievement of company goals is also required. Identifying potential risks, implementing measures to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies, staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and tools to improve operational efficiency, and implementing innovative solutions where applicable are part of the job responsibilities. Additionally, managing customer expectations, maintaining a cordial relationship with customers, providing regular insights on key matrices, and conducting front-end business reviews are important aspects of the role. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) along with extensive experience (typically 18+ years) in operations management, with a proven track record in a leadership role. Prior experience in US healthcare, specifically related to RCM / Medical coding, is a must. Strong knowledge of business and management principles, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management, excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders, familiarity with operations software and systems (e.g., ERP, CRM tools), and ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure are required skills and qualifications for this role.,
