About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Valuation Professional to join our dynamic Valuation & Advisory team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, solid experience in performing and reviewing business valuations, and the ability to manage client relationships and junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute complex business and asset valuations for a variety of purposes including financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, tax, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making.
Develop financial models including DCF, market comparables, precedent transactions, and other valuation methodologies.
Oversee valuation engagements and ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs in a timely manner.
Review and validate financial models prepared by analysts and associates.
Prepare and present detailed valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining and developing strong relationships.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members; assist in their technical and professional development.
Work cross-functionally with audit, tax, M&A, and legal teams as needed.
Stay current on industry trends, accounting and valuation standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, IVS, etc.).
Support business development activities including proposal development, pitch presentations, and client meetings.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Professional qualifications such as CFA, CA or similar preferred.
6–10 years of relevant experience in business valuation or financial advisory
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
In-depth understanding of valuation methodologies and industry standards.
Experience in handling regulatory valuations (e.g., Purchase Price Allocation, Impairment Testing) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and work under tight deadlines.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.

Financial Reporting Valuations (PPA, Goodwill Impairment)
M&A and Transaction Advisory Support
Start-up/early-stage company valuation
Valuation for fundraising, ESOPs, or tax compliance
Valuation of derivative instruments
Exposure to multiple sectors such as Tech, Healthcare, Industrials, etc.
