Director Supply Chain Management

Role Overview: As the Director of Depot and Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the Global depot operations and supply chain activities. Your key role will involve organizing the department into five traditional SCM functions, including Procurement, Logistics and Distribution, Inventory Management, Demand Planning and Forecasting, and Customs Compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and resilience of depot and supply chain operations. - Oversee depot network management, including inventory control, storage, distribution, and maintenance. - Lead initiatives to optimize the end-to-end supply chain, identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced customer service. - Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and services. - Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels, balance carrying costs, and meet customer demand. - Coordinate transportation and logistics activities for timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers. - Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. - Develop and monitor key performance indicators to assess depot and supply chain operations. Qualifications: - Master's degree preferred from a Top business school. - Minimum of 20+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a diverse team. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. - Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems, transportation management systems, and inventory management software.,
