Director Operations

In this role as a Lending Operations Director at Wells Fargo, you will have the responsibility of managing the activities and operations of multiple Loan Production, Loan Servicing, or Commercial support operations with a focus on financial and budget responsibility. Your key tasks will include approving and formulating policies, procedures, and methods associated with Lending Operations, identifying opportunities for improving operational and financial management, as well as organizational effectiveness, and overseeing the execution of underwriting procedures while maintaining high levels of loan quality. You will lead multiple Lending Operations teams, make strategic decisions to resolve complex issues, interpret and develop policies and procedures within the functional area, and provide significant input regarding the future direction of associated functional areas. Additionally, you will collaborate with and influence professionals at all levels, coach and manage the Lending Operations team, and allocate people and financial resources effectively. Your qualifications should include 8+ years of Transactions and Processing experience or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education, along with 4+ years of management or leadership experience. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a large Loan Servicing operations team across sites to ensure service delivery meets enterprise standards and business expectations - Fully understand lending processes across CB Ops and ensure adequate training and knowledge building within the team - Drive and motivate the team towards high performance, ownership, and sustained performance - Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive effective and efficient operations - Foster collaborative relationships with business partners and stakeholders - Establish a culture of meritocracy, positive behavior, talent management, and succession planning - Partner with Transformation teams to ensure seamless delivery within the portfolio - Develop reporting and business metrics to monitor and drive the right outcomes - Challenge existing processes to bring efficiencies in alignment with the Target Operating model - Continuously look for opportunities to reduce costs without impacting delivery - Maintain a strong culture of control, conduct, and proactive risk management This job posting is valid until 24 Jun 2025, but it may come down early due to the volume of applicants.
