Director Operations

In this role, as the Lending Operations Director at Wells Fargo, you will be responsible for managing the activities and operations of multiple Loan Production, Loan Servicing, or Commercial support operations. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Approving and formulating policies, procedures, and methods associated with Lending Operations - Identifying opportunities and recommending strategies for improving operational or financial management - Overseeing execution of underwriting procedures while maintaining high levels of loan quality - Leading multiple Lending Operations teams to resolve complex issues and meet high-risk deliverables - Developing policies and procedures within the Lending Operations functional area - Directing strategic planning discussions for the business line and providing input on future direction - Collaborating with professionals at all levels, including experienced leadership - Coaching, influencing, developing, and managing the Lending Operations team - Managing allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations - Developing a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy Qualifications required for this role: - 8+ years of Transactions and Processing experience - 4+ years of management or leadership experience As the Lending Operations Director, you will lead a large Loan Servicing operations team across sites to ensure service delivery meets enterprise standards and business expectations. You will drive continuous process improvements, establish a culture of high performance, and build collaborative relationships with business partners and stakeholders. Additionally, you will work towards developing requisite reporting & business metrics, challenging existing processes, managing costs, and ensuring strong culture of control and conduct.
