..This position plays a vital role in driving the profitability, growth, and success of BharatPe UPI business. By closely collaborating with internal teams, monitoring competitor activities, and engaging with external stakeholders such as NPCI, this role ensures that the UPI business remains competitive, aligned with industry standards, and meets the evolving needs of merchants. The roles efforts in optimizing the UPI business, growing transaction volume and TPV, enhancing merchant

satisfaction, and driving new use cases and features that directly impact the organization financial performance, market position, and overall customer experience.

Responsibilities will include

Functional Expertise:

1. Maintain a strong understanding of the UPI product and monitor competitor activities related to product enhancements, market share, service levels, transaction success rates, etc.

2. Drive business growth and measure success based on increased value/volume and market share for the UPI business

3. Design and implement initiatives around growth in transaction volume and TPV of UPI business

4. Monitor merchant satisfaction in terms of settlements and service, and design initiatives to improve the same

5. Conceptualize new features on the merchant app to drive retention and transaction activity

6. Ideate, design and pilot new use cases on merchant app, for driving engagement and monetization

Collaboration:

1. Collaborate with Sales teams to identify potential merchants, onboard them onto the UPI platform, and drive merchant adoption and engagement

2. Work closely with internal teams to develop and implement strategies that optimize the UPI business, including pricing, and merchant onboarding

3. Collaborate with Marketing team to design & run communications and campaigns targeting specific cohorts and objectives

4. Work closely with Product team to implement new product features and use cases

5. Work closely with Payments BU to facilitate payment product-level changes and ensure alignment with NPCI policies and guidelines

To succeed in the role

Impact :

● This role drives growth of overall UPI business, targeting increase in market share,

improvements in product (including aligned with industry standards), and driving evolving

needs and satisfaction of merchants

Qualification & Experience (type & industry) :

● Masters degree (or MBA) from Tier-1 institute; in fields such as, business administration,

finance, technology, or related areas

● 8-10 years of experience with 4+ years in financial services/ fintech space, with experience in

Payments space

Skills & know-how

●Strong understanding of the product/USP’s in devices markets for UPI
