Director of Growth

As a seasoned growth leader at marketfeed, a Y Combinator-backed investment-tech startup, you will play a crucial role in scaling the business and making wealth creation accessible and intelligent for everyone. With a community of 2.3M+ investors and 400,000+ app users, you will have the opportunity to double the business in the next 12 months by leveraging your expertise in scaling investment or wealth products in India and a strong analytical approach to funnels, CAC, and user behavior. Your key responsibilities will include: - Owning the Growth Engine: - Leading user acquisition, activation, and conversion into trade-ready users - Delivering CAC, funnel efficiency, and high-quality growth outcomes - Identifying high-potential user segments and prioritizing opportunities - Building the Growth Function: - Hiring and developing a top-tier growth team - Defining operating rhythms, dashboards, and KPIs for the org - Aligning cross-functional teams across Product, Tech, Media, and CS - Designing and Executing GTM Strategy: - Building annual and quarterly GTM plans for all products - Scaling digital channels: performance, lifecycle, referral, retargeting, influencers - Building non-digital channels: partnerships, communities, activations - Maintaining tight loops between insights, experimentation, and execution - Running High-Impact Experiments: - Testing and iterating across acquisition, onboarding, and conversion - Using behavioral insight, data, and creativity to unlock growth - Adapting quickly as market conditions shift - Owning the Budget: - Allocating spend for maximum efficiency - Reviewing channel performance and vendor impact - Balancing pace with financial discipline To be successful in this role, you should have 10+ years of experience (7+ if exceptional) with 3+ years leading growth in investments/wealth/fintech. You should also possess strong communication skills, cross-functional influence, and a deep understanding of AI-driven targeting, automation, and personalization.
