Job Description

Reporting to the VP Global Business Solutions (GBS) Transformation, this role is responsible for driving the Global PI strategy as well as leading the Global Business Solutions (GBS) team in India. As the Process Improvement (PI) lead, this role will provide leadership, direction, and functional expertise to the teams. This role is instrumental in driving the PI ethos, transforming ways of working, and unlocking productivity potential to achieve tangible bottom-line savings. This role demands close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the enterprise to identify, prioritize, and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. Additionally, as the India GBS Site Leader, this role is responsible for leading GBS expansion and service penetration across APAC which includes overseeing site governance, employee engagement, and policy execution for our Gurgaon office. This leader will serve as a key member of the GBS Transformation Leadership Team, contributing to the development and execution of the overall GBS strategic roadmap.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a GBS and Global Functionals PI strategy and implementation roadmap that is closely aligned with the enterprise goals and objectives as well as bottom line savings targets. Ensure alignment between the GBS delivery roadmap and the Enterprise roadmap to meet financial and non financial objectives.
  • Oversee the India GBS site and align on key decisions on policies, guidelines and processes impacting the Gurgaon, India McCormick office. Help drive employee engagement, enablement and empowerment on site.
  • Lead GBS expansion efforts in APAC, identifying opportunities for value creation, cost optimization, and geographic positioning. Collaborate closely with APAC President and Finance leadership to establish India as a strategic GBS hub.
  • Create on going strategic thought leadership and execution for the GBS roadmap and LTP plans. This will involve actively engaging with the GBS Leadership Team to influence priorities as well as engage with the Global CCI teams to support the development of the next generation CCI agenda and to ensure a coordinated and aligned approach to margin expansion.
  • Establish a robust monitoring and reporting mechanism for ongoing assessment, performance management and continuous improvement. Lead a team of ~10 people.


  • Member of GBS Transformation Leadership Team
  • Participate in various Analytics, Automation, and GBS LT forums as required.


Qualifications:


Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to drive results using PI tools

• Extensive experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and/or Global Capability Center (GCC)

• At least15 years of relevant experience and progressive leadership roles

• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, and modeling and loss analysis

• Extensive cross-functional program and program/project management experience

• Demonstrated ability to drive results using continuous improvement tools, analytical decision making, building strong relationships, and direction setting

• Ability to set and drive strategy
