Director Business Finance

Job Description

We are seeking a Head of Business Finance to partner closely with our leadership team, taking full ownership of the P&L management, financial planning, and business decision support for both fintech and ecommerce verticals. This is a high-intensity, high-impact role. About the Role: You’ll drive critical initiatives such as monthly business reviews, financial rigor across vertical heads, and commercial strategy. Responsibilities: Lead business finance and FP&A for the financial services Own end-to-end P&L management — working with vertical heads to drive unit-level profitability Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes Drive business efficiency and lead planning process Lead monthly business reviews and performance tracking against targets Partner with cross-functional leaders to support strategic decision-making Support implementation and usage of business planning tools and ERP systems (from a finance user lens, not IT) Lead and grow a team of 4–5 business finance professionals Qualifications: 8–10 years of experience in business finance / FP&A roles Prior experience in FinTech or ecommerce companies (NBFCs or traditional banks not included) Required Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in financial planning tools and ERP systems Preferred Skills: Experience in leading teams Knowledge of the fintech and ecommerce landscape Show more Show less
