Job Description

Support the Superior on domestic and international tax engagements and initiatives.
Drafting of submissions, appeals, etc. to be filed with the respective authorities.
Representing business before the relevant tax authorities to liaison and present the case on behalf or organization.
Manage departmental audits / Litigations.
Advising organization on the applicability of relevant tax provisions and corresponding amendments.
Finalization of income tax returns, tax audits and other statutory reporting
Ensuring smooth and effective communication with all key business stakeholders
Preparation of key deliverables (KPI'S) capturing implications, understanding all relevant compliances and monitoring applicability on a periodic basis
Undertake direct tax due diligence reviews (including scrutinizing past tax issues, record, compliance, etc. of the target) and capture the facts and analysis in a diligence report.
Keep up with new tax developments and ensure compliance with local rules and regulations.
Knowledge on incorporating new business entities
Preparation of training presentations on recent tax and regulatory developments to business and all key stakeholders
Identify and implement IT projects for automation of manual processes
Functional skills:

Direct Tax Compliance
Advisory & Tax Planning
Transfer Pricing
Litigation
Strong knowledge of the
Income Tax Act, 1961
, allied rules, and recent amendments.
Awareness of international tax regulations
Ability to analyze judicial precedents and apply them to business scenarios.
Practical exposure to tax technology tools is an added advantage
