This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Digital Technical Engineer in Network Service of Backbone Services with Signify.

Roles and Responsibilities – Network Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability across enterprise environments.
• Configure and manage network security tools such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across multiple layers and provide Level 2/3 support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide network integration.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and incident response activities.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network security and performance.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between the Internal users and network service vendors.
• Coordinate vendor activities including installations, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Track and report on vendor deliverables, timelines, and issue resolution.
• Ensure vendors adhere to client’s security, compliance, and operational standards.
• Facilitate regular reviews and meetings with vendors to assess service quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Escalate and manage vendor-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to client operations.
