Position Description:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build, test and maintain the infrastructure and tools to

allow for the speedy development and release. The DevOps Engineer plays an important role in

our company’s product development process. If you are passionate about leading end-to-end

DevOps projects with modern tools encompassing both Applications and Infrastructure, this is

the right job for you.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or

creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage

• Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer

• Should have experience in configuring tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes and

Redis on both cloud and on-premises servers.

• Should have experience in installation, configuration, replication and backup planning for

MongoDB and PostgreSQL."

• Consult with Product Architects to resolve any DevOps deployment challenges with our product suite.

• Configure build and deployments for multiple project teams to DEV, QA, and UAT

environments

• Configuration and managing databases such as Mongo, MySQL

• Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science

• Experience in Linux System administration

• Experience in managing public cloud, specifically AWS (Must have). AWS Solutions

Architect or AWS DevOps certification is an added advantage

• Experience in leading end-to-end DevOps projects with modern tools encompassing

both Applications and Infrastructure

• Basic in scripting and automation using languages like Bash, Python, PowerShell

• Knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins and building end to end CI-CD pipelines for projects

• Experience in configuring and managing databases such as Mongo, MySQL

• Good to have - Understanding of Backend technologies – Nodejs

• Excellent troubleshooting

• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services

• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Must be ready to assume responsibility, ownership of work, be independent, and at the

same time open to learning something new.

• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines - especially in a work from home

scenario

• Must have AWS certification on either Solution Architecture - Associate level, or

DevOps Engineer.

• Must have hands-on experience on AWS services such as RDS, ECS, EKS, Elasti

Cache, CloudFront, and Route53".
