Job Description – DevOps Engineer

Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: Onsite
Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are building a next-generation enterprise communication and collaboration platform similar to DingTalk, Slack, and JoyTeam.ai. We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment systems that will power a secure, reliable, and scalable platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure) to support large-scale, real-time messaging and collaboration features.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and mobile apps.
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical systems.
Deploy and manage microservices architecture using Kubernetes / Docker.
Implement advanced logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.) to ensure 24/7 reliability.
Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
Collaborate with development teams to optimize performance and security.
Handle incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortems.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards (SSO, RBAC, GDPR, SOC2, ISO27001).

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer in SaaS or large-scale systems.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.
Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
Deep knowledge of cloud services (AWS ECS/EKS, GCP GKE, or Azure AKS).
Familiarity with real-time messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Streams, WebSockets).
Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and API gateways (NGINX, Envoy, Istio).
Proficiency with monitoring & observability tools.
Programming/scripting in Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
Knowledge of security practices (IAM, VPN, secrets management, TLS, zero-trust).

Preferred Experience

Prior work on chat, messaging, or collaboration platforms.
Experience with scaling microservices to millions of concurrent users.
Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
