What You Will Be Doing

• Architecting and executing sophisticated infrastructure transformations, including migrating legacy systems to AWS and performing seamless lift-and-shift operations
• Creating comprehensive monitoring frameworks and developing intelligent automations for system oversight, deployment pipelines, and operational processes
• Taking ownership of critical infrastructure functions including proactive monitoring, backup management, incident resolution, database migration/configuration, and AWS cost optimization

DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Champion reliability and standardization across our expanding product ecosystem by implementing state-of-the-art monitoring, intelligent automation solutions, and AWS architectural best practices.
  

Basic Requirements

• Extensive AWS platform mastery (our core infrastructure platform - experience with other clouds alone is insufficient)
• Advanced programming capabilities in Python or JavaScript for developing automation tools and infrastructure utilities
• Proven track record managing and migrating production-grade databases across multiple engines (MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Expert-level containerization skills with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Comprehensive Linux systems administration knowledge

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
