DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, and system monitoring. You will collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline operations and ensure smooth software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Monitor system health, performance, and security using monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
• Support developers with troubleshooting build, deployment, and environment issues.
• Ensure best practices in version control, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to prevent future outages.
• Document processes, playbooks, and infrastructure configuration for operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Exposure to serverless architectures and cloud cost optimization.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary releases).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
