Job Description

DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Automate deployment processes and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum availability and reliability.
Collaborate with software engineers to define infrastructure requirements and support development environments.
Enhance system security through automation and proactive measures (e.g., vulnerability scanning, secrets management).
Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Maintain documentation and best practices for DevOps processes and infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role.
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS, but others acceptable).
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have:

Certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, etc.)
Experience in microservices architecture and service mesh tools (e.g., Istio).
Knowledge of security and compliance best practices in DevOps.
