DevOps Engineer

Company: IT Services Organization Key Skills: DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes. Roles and Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker. Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Nomad-Consul ( Nomad-Consul preferred ). Automate recurring tasks using scripting languages ( Python preferred ). Configure and support server-side technologies such as Nginx, HAProxy, and Apache. Use configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform for infrastructure automation. Manage cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on AWS. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment and delivery workflows. Experience Requirement : 4-10 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering roles with a strong focus on automation, deployment, and cloud infrastructure. Proven experience implementing and maintaining high-availability systems and auto-scaling architectures on AWS. Experience in managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation. Demonstrated ability to optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, reliability, and traceability. Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog. Experience troubleshooting networking, DNS, firewalls, and security issues in cloud and hybrid environments. Familiarity with GitOps practices and managing deployments using tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD. Practical experience with container security, image scanning, and vulnerability management.
