Job Description

DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage server diagnostics, automation, cloud migrations, and performance optimization. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency across cloud and on-prem environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform server diagnostics and root cause analysis: performance profiling, system analysis, process/memory/network monitoring, log parsing, and real-time alerting.

Execute zero-downtime migrations: blue-green/rolling/canary deployments, database (MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB/PostgreSQL) and application migrations, cross-cloud transitions, data synchronization, DNS/SSL management.

Handle software installation and configuration: package/source management, dependency resolution, infrastructure automation, service orchestration, environment isolation.

Manage security: vulnerability assessments, hardening, firewall/intrusion detection, SSL/TLS, access control, monitoring.

Build CI/CD and automation: GitHub Actions, Docker, IaC, configuration drift prevention, blue green deployments, rollback/testing automation.

Optimize performance and scaling: load balancing, caching, database/application tuning, resource/auto-scaling, cost optimization (right-sizing, reserved/spot instances).

Implement monitoring and observability: APM/infrastructure tools, log/metrics management, alerting, dashboards.

Oversee cost and resource management: cloud analysis, storage/network optimization.

Configure networking: load balancers, CDN, DNS, SSL termination, rate limiting, geographic distribution.

Manage containers and microservices: Docker/Kubernetes orchestration, security, service discovery, API gateways, architecture.

Ensure scalability and HA: multi-AZ/failover, disaster recovery, database/application scaling, caching, queue management.

Develop automation scripts: Bash/Python for infrastructure/deployment/backup/monitoring/security tasks.

Requirements

4+ years in DevOps/system administration, with expertise in AWS, Hetzner, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, Bash/Python.

Bachelor's in Computer Science/IT or equivalent; certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKAD) preferred

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
