DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure Platform Location: Delhi-NCR Experience: 8 – 10 years (minimum 5 years hands-on with Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure) ________________________________________ Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure to support the implementation, automation, and management of our cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep/Terraform templates, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native services in Azure. This is a strategic role supporting a foreign client, and excellent communication (verbal & written) is essential. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure using Azure services. • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform. • Manage and monitor Azure resources (AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Storage, Key Vault, etc.). • Configure and maintain Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. • Set up and maintain secure connectivity via VNETs, NSGs, Private Endpoints, and ExpressRoute/VPN. • Implement robust RBAC, identity and access management (IAM), and Secrets Management via Azure Key Vault. • Support release management, version control, and branching strategies with Git/Azure Repos. • Collaborate with development teams to optimize build/test/release workflows. • Ensure system reliability, availability, performance, and security through monitoring and proactive response. • Participate in architecture reviews, disaster recovery planning, and security compliance audits. ________________________________________ Must-Have Skills: • Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure ecosystem. • Proficiency in Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts). • Expert in Infrastructure as Code: Bicep, Terraform, or ARM Templates. • Solid experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker & Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including multi-stage YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps. • Deep understanding of networking, security, and identity in Azure. • Monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and related tools. • Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: • Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305). • Experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD (nice to have). • Exposure to DevSecOps and automated compliance frameworks. • Familiarity with cost optimization strategies on Azure. • Understanding of ISO 27001, SOC 2, or other compliance standards is a plus. ________________________________________ Soft Skills: • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for working with international stakeholders. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team. • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
