DevOps & Platform Engineering

Role Overview

DevOps Engineer

full-time, on-site role in our Saket office

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

• Manage AWS services (ECS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, IAM, VPC, ElastiCache).
• Architect and maintain high-availability & auto-scaling systems.
• Implement cost optimization strategies without impacting performance.

2. CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab / Bitbucket).
• Automate deployments for Node.js, NestJS, Angular, Python microservices.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform / AWS CDK / CloudFormation.

3. Containers & Orchestration

• Build and manage Docker containers across microservices.
• Deploy and optimize workloads on ECS (Fargate) or Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Implement blue-green deployments, rolling updates, and canary releases.

4. Monitoring, Logging & Reliability

• Set up monitoring dashboards (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Manage logging (ELK/EFK stack or CloudWatch Logs).
• Lead production incident troubleshooting & root-cause analysis.

5. Security & Compliance

• Manage IAM, KMS encryption, SSL certificates, security groups.
• Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning.
• Maintain backups, DR plans, and automated failover capabilities.

6. Collaboration & Support

• Work with backend, frontend, QA, and product teams to support deployments.
• Manage staging, QA, and production environments with reliable workflows.
• Provide on-call support for critical issues (rotational basis).

🚀 Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on AWS DevOps experience.
• Docker, containerization & microservices deployment.
• CI/CD pipeline management (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Bitbucket).
• Linux server administration & NGINX configuration.
• Terraform or CloudFormation knowledge.
• Strong understanding of VPC, DNS, routing, load balancing.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Kubernetes (EKS) experience.
• Experience with Node.js/NestJS microservices ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Redis, SQS, Kafka (nice to have).
• Cloud cost analysis & cost-reduction strategies.
• Security hardening, WAF, Shield, and compliance knowledge.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering.
• AWS certifications (Associate/Professional) are preferred.
