Job Title - Development Manager, Software Engineering Experience: 8-12 years Education: Any Computer Science graduate/Post graduate CTC : 30-42 LPA Position Overview We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Development Manager with 8–12 years of experience in software engineering, with deep expertise in Java and JavaScript technologies. This is a leadership role for someone passionate about building high-performing teams, delivering robust software solutions, and driving innovation in a collaborative development environment. Job Requirements and Skills 8–12 years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on experience in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and JavaScript (React, Angular or Vue.js) . Proven experience in managing or leading software development teams. In-depth understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and scalable systems. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure or GCP . Hands-on expertise in building applications with Next.js Strong command of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools and practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Hands-on expertise in building applications with Next.js Expertise in React performance optimization techniques Skilled in implementing unit tests with Jest and Cypress Expertise in at least one relational database (MySQL, Postgres, Supabase, etc) Knowledge of RAG, OpenAI and Prompt Engineering Knowledge of Shopify and headless architecture (like Contentful) is a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software developers in designing and developing scalable, maintainable applications using Java and JavaScript. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and high-level architectural solutions. Drive full lifecycle software development: requirement gathering, planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Ensure the use of best practices and modern development standards across backend and frontend stacks. Perform code reviews and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure code efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX for seamless delivery. Monitor team performance and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and business goals.
