Job Title: Development Manager

Location:

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on, and in some cases drive, the analysis, design, development, and deployment of systems.
• Lead, mentor, and manage multiple offshore software development teams, including the software engineers, business analysts, and quality assurance testers on these teams.
• Assist onshore Software Development Managers and QA Managers with team coordination, project planning, and resource allocation.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Work “hands-on” when necessary, with software developers to assist with tasks and troubleshooting.
• Facilitate communication, ensure timely delivery, and high-quality deliverables.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing software development for and with US-based software product companies.
• Experience managing multiple teams, including developers, BAs, and QA professionals.
• Strong technical background in Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms, and also Microsoft .NET and SQL Server ecosystems.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and architecting SaaS software solutions.
• Excellent analytical and design skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Scrum or agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Ability to work hours overlapping with US Day-time, up to noon CT.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or business administration or management.
• Previous experience in the US mortgage or financial software industry.
• Understanding of data security and compliance regulations relevant to SaaS solutions.
