Role Description

Job Title: Python & SQL Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced

Python & SQL Developer

to join our team. This role focuses on data processing, automation, and analytics, with opportunities to grow into testing and dashboarding (Grafana). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python and SQL, at least

3 years of hands-on experience

, and a desire to expand their skill set in system monitoring and testing.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and efficient Python code.
Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and report on data from multiple relational databases.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate and validate diverse data sources.
Optimize and troubleshoot existing scripts and queries for better performance and reliability.
Automate data workflows, including ingestion, transformation, and scheduled reporting tasks.
Participate in peer code reviews and help establish coding best practices.
Create and maintain clear documentation for code, systems, and data processes.
Support basic testing activities, including test case development and defect identification.
Learn and contribute to building and maintaining Grafana dashboards for monitoring data pipelines and system metrics.
Work within an Agile/Scrum environment and actively engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong command of SQL and experience writing complex, high-performance queries.
Experience working with RESTful APIs and external data integrations.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Understanding of Agile development practices and software engineering principles.
Eagerness to support testing activities and learn tools like Grafana for monitoring.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
