Job Title: Python & SQL Developer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Python & SQL Developer to join our team. This role focuses on data processing, automation, and analytics, with opportunities to grow into testing and dashboarding (Grafana). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python and SQL, at least 3 years of hands-on experience, and a desire to expand their skill set in system monitoring and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and efficient Python code.

• Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and report on data from multiple relational databases.

• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate and validate diverse data sources.

• Optimize and troubleshoot existing scripts and queries for better performance and reliability.

• Automate data workflows, including ingestion, transformation, and scheduled reporting tasks.

• Participate in peer code reviews and help establish coding best practices.

• Create and maintain clear documentation for code, systems, and data processes.

• Support basic testing activities, including test case development and defect identification.

• Learn and contribute to building and maintaining Grafana dashboards for monitoring data pipelines and system metrics.

• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment and actively engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.

• Strong command of SQL and experience writing complex, high-performance queries.

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and external data integrations.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Understanding of Agile development practices and software engineering principles.

• Eagerness to support testing activities and learn tools like Grafana for monitoring.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
