Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Derivatives Analyst or Trader. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Derivative Analyst or Trader to join our dynamic startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recommending intraday trades in index & stock options, preparing comprehensive derivative reports, and delivering actionable insights to enhance trading performance. This role demands strong analytical abilities, sound decision-making skills in real-time market scenarios, and a deep understanding of the derivatives market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Intraday Trading Recommendations:

• Monitor live markets to identify and recommend intraday trading opportunities in index and stock Options based on strategic analysis.
• Stay updated on market trends to provide timely and accurate trade recommendations.
• Monitor OI data, IV trends, PCR, and other data points to support directional bias and trade confirmation.
• Assist in implementing effective risk management practices to mitigate potential losses.

2. Market Analysis:

• Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, price movements, and macroeconomic factors influencing derivatives.
• Prepare detailed pre-market and post-market analysis to guide trading strategies.

3. Derivative Report Preparation:

• Develop comprehensive derivative reports that include option chain analysis, open interest trends, and volatility data.
• Provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on report findings.

4. Performance Monitoring:

• Track trade performance and provide regular updates on key metrics such as profit/loss, hit rate, and risk-reward ratios.
• Identify areas for improvement and refine strategies to enhance returns.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in recommending Index/Stock Options trades.
• Strong understanding of derivatives, including the use of complex data like volatility and Greeks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and charting tools such as Trading View.
• Certifications such as NISM Derivatives and Research Analyst Modules or CMT are highly desirable.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
