Job Description

As a Derivatives Trade Capture Analyst, your role involves supporting post-execution operations for Exchange-Traded and OTC derivative products. You will be responsible for accurate trade capture, settlement, lifecycle event processing, margin and collateral management, and timely reporting to fund administrators. Your coordination with internal teams and external brokers/custodians, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced operations environment will be crucial for success. Key Responsibilities: - Execute end-to-end post-trade operational support for Fund Managers and internal stakeholders. - Manage daily processing and confirmations for all derivatives trades, including CFDs, Options, CDS, IRS, and Inflation Swaps. - Oversee margin and collateral processes and ensure same-day confirmation for OTC transactions. - Handle transaction management, reconciliation, and lifecycle events for Exchange-Traded and OTC derivatives. - Liaise extensively with internal teams (Investment, Trading, Operations) and external parties (brokers, custodians, fund administrators). - Serve as an escalation point for issues impacting the derivatives transaction lifecycle. - Monitor trade events, investigate breaks, and resolve discrepancies with brokers and administrators. - Ensure timely delivery of trade, cash, and position reporting to fund administrators. - Prioritize workload effectively and escalate issues where appropriate. - Maintain strong working relationships with operational teams, dealers, and external service providers. - Contribute to process improvement, risk reduction, and workflow optimization. - Ensure procedures, controls, and documentation remain current and compliant. - Support regulatory initiatives, client onboarding, and BAU projects. - Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing across the team. Skills & Behaviours: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in trade capture and lifecycle processing. - Ability to plan and manage workload amid shifting priorities. - Sound judgment in routine operational scenarios; escalates complex issues promptly. - Proactive in improving processes and supporting team performance. - Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to consider multiple perspectives. - Excellent customer service focus, delivering timely and value-added support. - Effective communicator with confidence in guiding junior analysts. - Reliable in reporting and disclosing issues on the same day of discovery. Required Knowledge & Experience: - A-Level education or equivalent. - Prior experience in Derivatives Operations or Trade Capture. - Exposure to a broad set of OTC derivative products. - Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, analysis, reconciliations). - Solid understanding of trade lifecycle, confirmations, settlement, margin, and collateral processes. Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have): - Experience with the Aladdin platform. - IMC qualification. - Advanced Excel skills (Macros, BQL, Power Query).,
