Deputy Manager Operations

As a Visa Application Centre Manager, you will be responsible for managing all day-to-day activities at the Visa Application Centre. Your key responsibilities include: - Document scrutiny & verification for visa processing - Handling cash & bank-related transactions if assigned - Maintaining & recording all application data accurately and in a timely manner - Ensuring all administration & logistics of passport delivery to consulate/applicant/logistics company - Conducting regular audits for all processes and implementing new process rollouts or changes - Identifying incorrect or incomplete information through regular quality checks to ensure accuracy of visa applications - Monitoring and reducing the number of errors every month within acceptable limits - Improving customer & mission satisfaction by enhancing procedures and innovating methods for increased productivity - Ensuring team alignment and contribution towards achieving parameters listed in the Team Objective Tracker - Maintaining adherence to Service Level Agreements and Standard Operating Procedures without deviation - Ensuring compliance with VFS Global defined principles, policies & procedures - Upholding high standards of ethics, integrity, and compliance with corporate procedures - Completing the entire process within the mandated Turn Around Time - Monitoring, tracking, and maintaining internal errors to avoid penalties - Conducting regular trainings for self and team on product & process - Providing assistance to staff and handling applicant/customer escalations - Liaising with various support functions to handle team-related queries - Managing VAC productivity and security (Physical & data) - Mentoring the team regularly to ensure succession planning - Ensuring judicious use of natural resources - Adhering to the environment health and safety policy/objectives and organization's guidelines,
