Position: Deputy Manager-Costing

Work Location-Chakan, Pune (Maharashtra)

Qualification – ICWA / ICWA Inter

Experience required- 05 to 08 Years in the Manufacturing Sector

CTC-10 to 12 LPA Max.

Role Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for costing of products and projects, variance analysis, standard cost maintenance, works accounting, and ensuring cost control across manufacturing & service operations. They will work closely with engineering, procurement, production, project teams, and finance leadership to provide insights and drive margin improvement. The role will also support the Accounting and Finance Manager in daily operations, accounting closure, audits, and compliance when required.

Key Metrics / KPIs

• Variance (Material, Labor, Overhead) as % of standard
• Timeliness of monthly costing closure
• Accuracy of cost estimates vs actuals
• Number & impact of cost reduction initiatives implemented
• Profitability by product / segment / project
• Audit compliances / error rates in cost entries

Reporting & Team Structure

• Reporting to: Local Accounting and Finance Manager, senior managers locally, and Finance Controller / CFO at the headquarters.
• Coordination with: Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Project Teams, Sales / Commercial
• May lead / mentor junior accountants / assistants

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
