Deputy Manager

Purpose/Objective

The job purpose of a Shift Incharge - WetTools is to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of wet chemical tools and equipment in industrial settings, ensuring quality production, safety compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Specialization in Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA): - Provide expert management of Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) processes, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) equipment for solar cell production. Preventive Maintenance: - Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) machines. Ensure adherence to maintenance protocols and best practices. Breakdown Management: - Lead the response to major equipment breakdowns, coordinating quick and effective repairs to minimize production disruption. Analyze breakdowns to prevent future occurrences. RCA (Root Cause Analysis): - Conduct thorough root cause analysis of equipment failures and process issues. Implement corrective actions based on findings to improve machine reliability and performance. Spare Parts Planning: - Analyze historical data and predict future spare parts requirements. Collaborate with shift engineers and spare part manager to align inventory levels with operational needs. Machine Uptime: - Focus on maximizing machine uptime by overseeing effective maintenance practices, troubleshooting issues promptly, and ensuring that Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) equipment operates at peak efficiency. Specialized Tools Knowledge: - Utilize advanced tools and software for monitoring and maintaining Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) equipment. Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) processes. Team Leadership: - Manage and mentor the Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective operation and professional development. Compliance and Safety: - Ensure all Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols. Quality Assurance: - Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and specifications in Wet-tool (Monotex, BSG, PSG, Polishing, RCA) operations for consistent solar cell performance. Key Stakeholders - Internal: - Shift Engineers within the Cell Maintenance - Maintenance Technicians and Engineers - Production Supervisors Key Stakeholders - External: - Equipment Suppliers - Maintenance Contractors - Regulatory Agencies

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field. Work Experience (Range of years): - 8-12 Years of experience in managing wet chemical tools and equipment and ensuring production standards and quality compliance.
