Deputy Manager

What you’ll do:

This position will be incharge of overall machine shop in Coimbatore, India. Candidate will be key player to deliver the output required. Also meet the KPIs set for the team
Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs 2. Create and implement best practice manufacturing strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance 3. Evaluate the challenges faced by the team and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities 4. Initiate & develop creative and innovative manufacturing processes 5. Implement a customer focused operational culture delivering world class customer service levels 6. Develop and manage master production schedule and operations budgets for products to directly support and ensure that the product is delivered to agreed cost, quality and timelines 7. Analyze budgets and continuously control production costs and identify/rectify waste measures 8. Analyzing manpower competencies, optimum manpower planning, providing adequate training to bridge skill gaps and thereby ensuring potential manpower to support the company's growth. 9. Ensuring appropriate documentation, and process follow up as per QMS standards. 10. Support project management to cross functional activity required for project execution 11. Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, manufacturing and quality standards and procedures are adhered to 12. Ensure strong communication between teams to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements 13. Complete regular performance reviews, manage attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues and procedures as appropriate 14. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance 15. Report on Manufacturing activities on a regular basis to the Management team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Key Performance Indicators 16.Follow lean manufacturing principles 17. Should have team Handling Experience managing a team of 30- to 40 Reportees .

Qualifications:

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering ,Experience of min 10 yrs in handling a CNC Machine Shop and team of supervisors & operators
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - 20 Years of Experience

Skills:

• Experience in handling Aluminum commodity will be preferred.
• Proficient with ERP systems & preferably MFG Pro.
• Proficient with all MS office products.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
• A good team player.
• Language: Fluency in English & Tamil is required. Other South Indian languages an added advantage.
• Capable of interfacing with all levels of management.
