Deputy Manager

Purpose/Objective

The Shift Manager oversees all shift operations within the production facility, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. This role involves managing staff, monitoring production performance, enforcing safety protocols, and addressing any issues that arise during the shift.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Safety and Compliance : - Ensure shift operations adhere to safety regulations and standards by enforcing protocols, conducting safety checks, providing training, and addressing any safety or compliance issues promptly. Manpower Planning: - Ensure optimal staffing levels for each shift to meet production demands and enhance operational efficiency. Shift Performance Management: - Monitor and improve shift performance by analyzing shift operations and implementing strategies to boost productivity and quality. Collaboration with Clusters: - Coordinate and support various production clusters to resolve issues, facilitate communication, and align operations with shift goals. Production Planning and Scheduling: - Complete the production plan by scheduling tasks and assigning responsibilities to Engineers. Ensure that production targets are met efficiently and resources are properly allocated. Documentation and Reporting: - Prepare and submit timely production reports, highlighting any deviations from the plan. Escalate issues promptly to address and resolve them effectively. Training and Development: - Oversee and orient training programs for employees, focusing on productivity, resource conservation, and safe machinery use. Ensure new employees are properly trained on operational procedures and safety. SOP Adherence and Quality Management: - Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed during the shift and that operational parameters remain within Manufacturing Quality Plan (MQP) limits. Aim to achieve the best production volume, yield, and lowest rejection rates. Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: - BE/B.Tech Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical - Desired Qualification : BE/B.Tech Work Experience (Range of years): - Min 8-12 years in manufacturing management, with experience in production supervision and team management.
