Job Description

Overview:

This role will be responsible for the global transformation of agriculture and will take on the additional Sector agricultural agenda as well. The role of Agro Functional Lead is crucial for driving the agricultural strategy and ensuring the success of the Sector and Global products. This position is pivotal in aligning the global agricultural initiatives, such as Potato Seed planning, Appearance Score optimization, Digital Defects diagnostics, to maximize yield and efficiency.
This role will also add additional responsibilities to work and engage with the S+T capability teams, such as Data and Analytics, including GenAI capabilities, Data Science etc., Digital Products and Applications organization which includes Service Design, Software Engineering and Testing, Security, EA

Responsibilities:

Developing Strategic Roadmaps: Create and implement comprehensive strategic roadmaps for the agriculture sector, aligning with both regional and global objectives.
Driving Agricultural Innovation: Lead initiatives to innovate and continuously improve agricultural practices, ensuring the adoption of best practices across all regions
North America Agro Products Implementation: Oversee the implementation of all the Agro product across global markets, ensuring its success and effectiveness.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the progress of agricultural projects, making data-driven decisions to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Enhancing Operational Efficiency: Improve operational efficiency and productivity through strategic planning and execution.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and insights to drive innovation and strategic decisions that contribute to the growth and sustainability of the agriculture business.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, MIS, Data Science, Engineering or related field
Master's Degree in Agriculture, Information Systems is a plus
10+ years’ experience in product strategy, scoping and business analysis,
10+ years ‘ experience in delivery and operations support, managing complex, integrated digital solutions
5+ years’ experience as a global process owner
5+ years of experience in Innovation Management, Decision Making, Data utilization, and performance monitoring
