Job Description

Mine Planning, Resource optimization & Quality Control in Mines - Planning for raising of budgeted production of coal in accordance with the approved mining plans. Monitoring field survey and ensuring timely preparation of plans/sections for leases. Ensuring use of Computerized mine planning with the help of Software. Ensuring issue of timely online royalty pass Synchronization of different equipment's for proper bendability of different grades. Ensure collection, preparation and analysis of mine samples and feedback
Compliance under statutory requirements - Ensure Data management for filing of returns/forms, selfassessment as per guidelines of GPCB, MoEF, IBM and CGM. Ensuring online & offline monthly and annual returns in compliance to MCDR, MCR, GMMCR are submitted in time. Submission of Self-Assessment for limestone mines on IBM Website for 5 Star rating. Ensure the updation of in-house compliance manager Ensure compliances to the conditions imposed in Environment clearances, CCAs, Wild Life Clearance. Ensure periodic surveys & monitoring of environment parameters related to piezometers, air quality in coordination withEnvironment Cell.
Mining Lease and Statutory Permissions Exploration Activities - Preparation of Mining Plans & Mining Scheme along with progressive Mine Closure Plans for obtaining the approval from concerned Govt. Authorities. Ensuring compliances wrt mining plan/scheme of mining & progressive mine closure plans. Ensure Mine plantation, reclamation & rehabilitation measures are carried out in accordance with approved mining plans & approved scheme of mining. Ensure that statutory payments like Surface rent, dead rent, advance royalty, District Mineral Fund (DMF), National Mineral Exploration Trust are made. Plans for Conducting the Exploratory core drilling, logging and core sampling. Estimation of economic resources / reserves in accordance with UNFC Norms. Technical & Economical feasibility of the land for taking the decision for purchase.
Focus on SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives - Periodic updating of minerals resources, optimal utilisation of coal in the mining leases. Prepare a scheme of prospecting and carry out the investigation operation as per the scheme Prepare the necessary geological maps, plans and sections which are required to delineate the ore body Carry out petrological and mineralogical studies of host rock and mineralised zones; Calculate coal reserves and its grade Responsible for providing all the necessary information required for controlling the quality or grade of the coal produced Maintain records of the prospecting operations. Work out the appropriate method of sampling and ensure preparation of samples accordingly; maintain an assay plan in cases of underground workings; Update the reserve figures, grade-wise and category-wise at the end of every year in case of a working mine identify the associated coal and maintain records of the stacks of non-salable or subgrade coal produced
