Head of Process & Delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery Governance:

  Establish and enforce delivery frameworks, ISO-aligned processes, and clear accountability models.

• Focus & Discipline:

  Ensure teams stay aligned to their scope of responsibility, preventing overlap, gaps, or misaligned priorities.

• Tooling Excellence:

  Drive consistent use of Jira, Confluence, dashboards, and reporting for visibility, tracking, and accountability.

• Metrics & Compliance:

  Define and enforce KPIs, SLAs, and quality gates to ensure predictable outcomes.

• Operational Rigor:

  Standardize SDLC practices across reviews, release readiness, and retrospectives.

• Risk & Escalation Management:

  Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; enforce mitigation and escalation protocols.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Drive a culture of operational efficiency, consistency, and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• 18+ years in software engineering and delivery leadership with large, distributed teams.
• Strong background in application/software development.
• Proven success in enforcing process and accountability across organizations of 100+ people.
• Expertise in delivery tools (Aha!, Jira, Confluence, dashboards) and process frameworks (ISO, CMMI, Agile scaling).
• Exceptional organizational, governance, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to act as the enforcing authority to keep teams disciplined, aligned, and focused on results.
